Introducing the Taser X26c
The Taser X26c is a premier law enforcement electronic control device that individuals can also own. The Taser X26c uses a replaceable Taser cartridge containing a compressed nitrogen propulsion system to deploy two small probes that are attached to the Taser x26c by insulated wires.
The Taser X26 transmits Neuro Muscular Incapacitation (NMI) impulses through these wires affecting the sensory and motor functions of the peripheral nervous system of the remote target at distances from direct contact up to 35 feet or 10.6 meters. The energy can penetrate up to two cumulative inches of clothing, or one inch per probe.
Since using Tasers officer injuries have dropped by 80%, suspect injuries have dropped 67%, lethal force have dropped 69%, physical confrontations is down 69% thus saving $25 million in liability costs.
