The Byrna CL (Compact Launcher) is the world’s smallest and most concealable less-lethal launcher. Engineered for discreet carry and rapid deployment, the Byrna CL combines compact size with serious stopping power—making it ideal for personal protection without compromise.
Powered by compressed CO₂, the Byrna CL fires .61 caliber kinetic or chemical irritant projectiles capable of disabling threats from up to 60 feet away. Despite its compact form, this launcher delivers powerful performance and peace of mind.
No Firearm Classification – No Permit Required
The Byrna CL is not classified as a firearm, meaning it requires no permit or background check to purchase or own (must be 18 or older).
Note: This kit does not include chemical irritant projectiles. The Byrna CL is compatible only with .61 caliber Byrna projectiles. This model features no external safety lever for streamlined use. Not eligible for discounts or promotions at this time.
