The Byrna SD Self Defense System is the successor of the original Byrna HD. It was re-engineered for optimum performance. Powered by compressed gas (CO2), the new Byrna SD shoots 68 caliber round kinetic and/ or chemical irritant projectiles that disable threats from up to 60 feet away. It is an extremely powerful and non-lethal defense system.

Features of Byrna's SD Kinetic Kit include:

• Up to 300 feet per second average projectile speed
• Ergonomically designed honeycomb grip for improved control in all conditions
• Enhanced sights for quicker target acquisition
• Straight trigger design with a 6.5 lb. trigger pull weight on the 2nd shot and smoother press
• Safe/Fire ambidextrous toggle switch that allows for easy switching for either left-handed or right-handed shooters
