The Bolt 2 energy weapon’s battery pack is designed for approximately fifty 30-second firings or one year of use, whichever comes first. Please be aware that battery life may vary depending on factors such as temperature and environment, and it depletes faster in colder weather than in warm weather.

The TASER Bolt 2 uses two (2) CR123A 3V Lithium Batteries which you can purchase at your local Home Depot and Walmart or purchase here. 

1 - Shift the safety switch to the forward (ARMED) position, which will cause the safety cap to pop off.

2 - Move the safety switch to the rearward (SAFE) position.

3 - Carefully remove the Bolt 2 cartridge.

4 - To take out the battery pack, slide off the battery door from the energy weapon.

5 - Replace the batteries with new ones.

6 - Reinstall the battery pack, making sure it is fully inserted into the Bolt 2 energy weapon. Failing to do so could damage the energy weapon or lead to power loss during deployment.

7 - Slide the battery door back onto the energy weapon securely.
